Gary Bigeni is as always a testament in luxe simplicty, drawing an arc between minimal lines, pop bright colours and nice graphic prints. This season the colours switched between cobalt blue and a sunny yellow-orange, with neutrals and blacks in between. Then the prints, all geometric and bold, were a lovely nuance to the collection that gave it a little twist of quirky fun. Some front row attendees included bloggers Bryan Boy and Street Peeper, with Bryan Boy later declaring Gary Bigeni one of his favourite shows of the day. As always, Bigeni doesn’t disappoint, his mastery of beautiful and wearable shapes with colours that just work together make his collection very desirable; a wardrobe that could work for everyday yet is far from pedestrian. A Gary girl is functional, and she is fun.
