From the depths of an enchanted jungle the Michael Lo Sordo spring/summer 12-13 collection brought to life a flawless mix of strong graphic prints and structured silhouettes that housed a carefully considered application of rose gold, blue and silver foil.
Lo Sordo’s obsession with tailoring (which he is so well known for) is evident in the juxtaposition of sheer and opaque fabrics that rightfully embody the strong woman this collection is intended for. The vivid floral prints lined with a leather appliqué were accompanied by bejewelled beetle graphics and bold colours which added just the right amount of sophistication and sensibility to the collection.
The impressive line-up of models from Priscillas adorned a fresh-dewy skin, along with a strong, statement brow. The fun, easy-to-wear nail look, which perfectly complimented the SS1213 collection was created by Essie using their new-season colours Case Study and Sew Psyched.
Lo Sordo has fast cemented himself as a respected designer amongst some of Australia’s fashion-royalty – the much-anticipated collection surpassed all expectations yet again. He is definitely confirming himself as one of our favourites!
